It was either green socks, or no socks.  I say he chose wisely.

Who cares.  When you're this good looking and awesome, you can do whatever you want.  Why do I think this is so awesome?  I would have have done the same thing :)

Thanks for letting me tag along today and basking in your awesomeness Bracey.

I had a great time photographing Brandon and Mandy's wedding.  They are a rad couple and their wedding was super fun.

They were married at the San Diego Temple in La Jolla, CA.  The reception followed later that evening in Mission Viejo at La Casa de Rogers.  Here's how the day went...

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Judd.  And a pretty rad wedding party.  Heeeeey Yoooooo

Reception time.  Yum.

(A) Clarity:

Hi Mike, found you via Clarice's post.
Probably some of the best wedding photography I've seen. I like how the boys look like they're out of the rat pack, but cooler. Everything from the couple to the choice of desserts is sweet, fun and unpretentious. Well done.

7-11 is a rather special day for me.  It happens to be the day Little Nance brought me into this world.  Scholars maintain my mom loved Slurpees so much back in the day that she was induced on 7-11.  She may argue that's not the case, but we all know the truth Mom :)

My dear friend Shauna Lewis planned an amazing party for my big day.  Obviously we went with a 7-11 theme and managed to turn the front yard into a mini-7-11 store.  Hot dogs, nachos, taquitos, frozen burritos and enough Hershey's candy (thx A$) to give you ten muffin tops.  Word to the wise.....you should hire Shauna to plan your next big event.  She will blow your lid like a hot plate of nachos and jalapenos.

Okay Mike Melissa and Brian's pictures are amazing. I too love the Amtrak pciture, but I also really like the one with the wedding party at the temple with the tall bushy trees. I commented up here because I totally know Shauna Lewis. I went to high school in Folsom with her older siblings. She did an awesome job on your party. I hope you had a great birthday.

Brian and Melissa may look familiar to you from the super rad eSession we did a few months back.  As luck would have it, I found myself partying with the Bride and Groom again on their wedding day with camera in hand.

B&M are sooooo rad.  Here's how it went down:

Reception at Franciscan Gardens, San Juan Capistrano
All flowers done by the Bride's talented sister, Brittany.

After we finished at the Temple, we took a quick jaunt down to Victoria Beach in Laguna for some portraits on the beach.  I'm soooo stoked on how the colors turned out.  Not bad for 2pm in the afternoon.  Boom.

The next stop was in San Juan Capistrano.  They picked a venue that was a stones throw from the train station and some rad spots for pictures.

That last image with the train blows my mind.  If I were Brian and Melissa, that would be a MASSIVE portrait in my house.  I'd be that vain :)

Every great wedding has amazing details.  Check out these.

There may or may not have been a few wedding crashers on site.  I was able to snag a few pictures to document their existence.

And.....the reception was a blast.

Congrats B&M!  You are going to rock the world with your awesomeness.

7-11 has always been a special day.  Not only is it the name of America's greatest convenience store and the Slurpee, but it is also my birthday.  I hope you all enjoyed a free Slurpee on me :)  Best part though was listening to my nephews sing happy birthday to me on the phone.  Love them to pieces.  Thank you to all who made this year so great.

We turned our front yard into a 7-11 convenience store, thanks to Shauna and several other honorable mentions (MS, AS, MM, SO, HW, J"B"B, ME).  Plenty of rad pics to follow.
