My first celebrity encounter with camera in hand. If Salt Lake City had a Ron Burgundy, he would be it.

The ladies of MyStyle 2020 are prepping to spew their innards of fashion talent on Orange County's finest. Mina is one of their stylists. Here is her lovely head.

Shot all of these using my beloved 50mm 1.2L using the overhead fluorescent office lights as my available light. Enjoy.

american fork canyon and a birthday

One of the things I miss most about Utah, sans snowboarding, is the ability to drive 30 minutes to some of the most beautiful places in the mountains. American Fork Canyon is incredible for how close it is and has a charm.

Thursday night we ventured up the canyon with a few of my cousins for a little bonfire and birthday celebration. TODAY - happens to be my wonderful Sister-In-Laws Bday....you know....the one who birthed my two amazingly awesome nephews. Yup, today is her special day, but we sorta celebrated on Thursday.

We had a great time cooking hot dogs, marshmallows, Jiffy Pop, eating cupcakes, throwing rocks into the river and running through the weeds. Nature, it's pretty rad.

Happy Birthday Andrea.

Indeed Gollum....I shot all of these using the 50mm 1.2L wide open at f/1.2. I can't tell you enough how much I love it. The images at f/1.2 are so creamy they should be popsicles. Buying one will put a chubby back in your pants.
